Twelve new pieces in Italian wool and Portuguese knit, cut in runs of forty and finished by hand in our own studio.
What we are wearing this month — the pieces that keep leaving the studio.
We produce in runs of forty per colour. It is an awkward number for a factory and a good one for a wardrobe: nothing is made in anticipation of a sale, and nothing sits in a warehouse for two seasons.
Every garment is cut in one of four workshops — two in northern Portugal, one outside Florence, one in Alicante. We have been to all of them. The wool comes from a mill in Biella that has been weaving since 1663; the leather is vegetable-tanned in Tuscany.
If a seam goes on something you bought from us, send it back. We will repair it for as long as we are in business.

“I dress people for a living, and the test is always the same: is it still in the wardrobe in three years? These coats are. That is rarer than it should be.”
